Pat Wong grew up in the lower Makiki area where the Foster Botanical Garden and downtown Honolulu were within biking distance. While Pat doesn’t have a green thumb, she admires the professionals and volunteers who support our plants and gardens and make this island a better place to enjoy and live. Pat is a lawyer and currently works as Vice President Administration and Corporate Secretary for Hawaiian Electric Industries. She is Secretary for the Goodwill Board of Directors and Chair of the Statewide Health Coordinating Council. She also is the honorary co-chair of the 2009 Hawaii Women’s Legal Foundation fundraiser.; She is a graduate of McKinley High School, Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her four kids and husband keep her very busy with their varied activities, but she manages to squeeze in knitting and watching General Hospital whenever she can. |
